The Labyrinth

Posted on May 8, 2013 by Bruce Hayes
Complicated, it lay before Me,
a web of choices,
a web of challenges,
a course in Life.
Some paths long,
with smooth arcs of russet.
Others short,
staggering, twisting, tiring.
They lead toward wisdom and knowing,
but yet seem afar. Astray.
They approach the cliff’s jagged edge,
but yet I remain solid. Sane.
When I am almost Home,
they deviate, drift again.
Seemingly endless movement,
wanting, waiting, longing.
And then I am home,
my Maker and I face to face.
Embracing the essence,
and fulfilling my Path.
It is at this point, I know. I am Aware.
It is at this point, Mountains move.
